These Terms of Service govern use of Your Story, including our website, app experience, parent accounts, child profiles, personalized illustrations, subscriptions, reading tools, and support services.

By creating an account, uploading a child photo, starting a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to manage the child profile you create.

Your Story is designed for parents and legal guardians. Children should not create accounts, upload photos, purchase subscriptions, or submit personal information on their own.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted for each child profile, including name, age, profile settings, photo, and any requested corrections.

Personalized books are not instant. A child character render must be approved first. Then each book is illustrated, checked by automated systems, reviewed by a person when required, and released only after approval.

The current core subscription is designed around 3 fully personalized digital books per month for one child, released as 1 prepared book about every 10 days after illustration and review.

A single-book purchase may be offered as a one-time payment for 1 fully personalized digital book. It does not renew automatically and does not include the monthly release schedule unless the checkout page clearly says otherwise.

Release windows are estimates. Rendering, review, corrections, payment issues, service outages, provider limits, or safety concerns may delay release.

The base plan is $19.99 per month or $199 per year unless a different price is shown at checkout. Additional child profiles may be offered at a discounted add-on price.

A one-book purchase is a separate one-time digital book purchase unless the checkout page says it is part of a subscription or bundle.

Payments, invoices, card updates, subscription renewals, and subscription management are handled through Stripe or another payment provider we may use in the future.

Cancellation normally stops future renewal and access changes at the end of the current paid billing period, unless applicable law or the payment provider requires a different result.

Free previews, early-access offers, coupons, trials, or promotional pricing may be changed, limited, or removed at any time unless a specific offer says otherwise.

A preview may show sample or locked content and does not guarantee immediate access to a fully personalized book.

You may upload a child photo only if you are the parent or legal guardian, have the right to upload it, and want it used to create the personalized storybook character and book pages.

You must not upload photos of a child if you do not have permission, photos containing sensitive unrelated people, unsafe content, nudity, medical imagery, identifying documents, or anything unlawful.

We may reject or remove photos or generated content if they create safety, privacy, quality, rights, or compliance concerns.

You keep the rights you have in photos and information you submit. By submitting them, you give Your Story permission to host, store, process, transform, display, and use them as needed to provide the service, create personalized storybook content, perform quality review, provide support, and maintain safety.

Your Story owns or licenses the platform, story templates, prompts, visual systems, software, brand, and non-personalized story assets. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to access your family account and released digital books according to your plan.

You may use released books for personal family reading. Commercial resale, redistribution, scraping, model training, public re-uploading, or use outside the family account is not allowed without written permission.

Generated illustrations, narration, translations, and story text may sometimes contain errors, visual inconsistencies, or inaccurate personalization. We use approval and review workflows to reduce those issues before release.

If a child likeness, name, cultural detail, clothing detail, language, narration, or story page is wrong, contact support with the story title and slide number so it can be reviewed.

We may re-render, edit, reject, delay, or remove content that does not meet quality or safety standards.

You may not use the service for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, exploitative, harassing, infringing, deceptive, hateful, adult, violent, or child-endangering content.

You may not attempt to bypass authentication, access another family account, scrape data, attack the service, reverse engineer private systems, overload generation tools, or misuse admin, support, or payment workflows.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account creates risk to children, families, the service, payment providers, or other people.

Printed keepsake books are planned but are not included in the current digital subscription unless a separate purchase or plan clearly says they are included.

Future print products may have separate shipping, taxes, proofing, refunds, and production terms.

Stories, release schedules, language options, voices, personalization systems, pricing, supported devices, storage limits, and features may change as the product improves.

We will try to avoid changes that unfairly remove paid access already earned, but we may need to change or discontinue features for safety, compliance, provider, cost, quality, or technical reasons.

The service is provided as an educational and entertainment product for family reading. It is not medical, psychological, legal, religious, therapeutic, or educational-diagnostic advice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect generation accuracy, exact release timing, or that every story will be suitable for every child without parent judgment.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Your Story will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a higher amount.
